10000AFC in accordance with UL810-standard.

3. Operational Parameters:
A. Maximum overvoltage: 1.1Un Maximum overcurrent: 1.3In
B. Reliability: The failure rate is < 6% / 0,5% (1PPM component hour) when products run 60000/5000 hours under rated voltage and nominal temparature in accordance with EIA-456-A standard.

4. Installation Requirement:
Capacitors should be installed under the standard of IEC61921 and EN60831. Keep in a cool and well ventilated locations away from other heat-radiating elements.Natural heat dissipation is generally sufficient for cooling purposes if enough air circulation, and the space between capacitors should be not less than 20mm so that the maximum admissible ambient temperature is not exceeded. In the cndition of natural cooling, the space between capacitors should be less than 100mm; The capacitor’s useful life greatly depends on operating temperature. Once exceed the maximum allowed temperature, the safety device will be out of operation.

Phase Compensation Capacitor

Phase compensation power capacitor will lead the concentration line out of the inside to realize one capacitor multimode wiring . Its reasonable stucture, concise installation, reliable and safe operation and excellent over current capacity offer a good method for the power capacitor which can be connected by both star connection or delta connection to meet total compensation, phase compensation and composite compensation , s need.

Capacitor Rudimentary Knowledge

1. Capacitor Application

Pure capacitance compensation
A. There is no obvious(larger single power or some small power nonlinear loads) harmonic source in power system.
B. Current total harmonic distortion THDi≤5%
C. When 5%≤THDi≤15%, it should raise the capacitor rated voltage.

Detuned filtering(suppression of harmonics amplification) compensation
A. There is little harmonic source in power system.
B. 5%≤THDi≤15%,
C. It should be in series with 5-8% reactor when harmonic current is in the region of the 5th.
D. It should be in series with 12-14.8% reactor when harmonic current is in the region of the 3th.

Tuning(filiter a part of harmonic) compensation
A . 25%≤THDi≤50%,
B. Setting single-tuned compensation, filter branch of main harmonic order(Normally is F3,F5,F7,F11 etc.)
C. Single-tuned branch setting on the basis of reactive power compensation.

The key factors affect capacitor lifespan
A. The harmonic from load(Large harmonic causes the capacitor failure directly.)
B. Working for long time in over voltage(The lifespan will reduce to half when the voltage raise 10%.)
C. Ambient temperature(The lifespan will reduce to half when the temperature raise 8Ф-10Ф.)
